Grampa Adventure Time

I penciled the cover story to Grampa Simpson's Choose Your Own Adventure, written by Max Davison. It's due out next week, 12 /16/15. Only now it's called Grampa Simpson's Unbelievable Adventures, for boring legal reasons. Here's the hype from Bongo:

This is a limerick from the from the first piece I drew for Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror.  "The Lexicon of Lurid Limericks" consisted of an entire alphabet of putrid poems, and was co-written With Steve Sullivan, with color by Dave Stewart.

Fangs For Nothing

The new issue of BART SIMPSON comics contains a 10 page story written by Ian Boothby and drawn by yours surly. It's called "Fangs for Nothing", with Bart playing an elaborate practical joke on Principal Skinner. On sale now!

PROFESSOR FRINK #1!!!

Professor Frink goes on a hot date which gets him--and all of Springfield--in hot water. FRINK SINATRA is a 12 page story written by Ian Boothby and penciled by yours surly, and it's the lead feature in PROFESSOR FRINK #1, a one-shot special from Bongo Comics, on sale February 27.

Andrew Pepoy inked it--as well as the two other stories in the issue. On Saturday, March 2, from 2-5 PM, Andrew and I will be signing this and other comics, as well as drawing free sketches. It all happens at the comic book store Vigilante Press, 1931 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago. Copies of the issue will be on sale. Stop by and say hello.

Eat, Frink and be Merry

My 12 page FRINK SINATRA story will be in this Frink one-shot from Bongo Comics, on sale the last Wednesday of February, 2013. I hope that it's only the first of many Frink books.

The Frink of Disaster

I'm currently penciling a story for the Simpsons Illustrated comic book starring Professor Frink. It's a good one, which is not surprising given that it was written by the talented Ian Boothby.

Under the Cover

Woo hoo! I drew the cover for SIMPSONS SUPER SPECTACULAR #15 — on sale June 27th. It features Radioactive Man and Plasmo, and depicts a story drawn by artist Frank Brunner. You can read about the issue on the Bongo Comics website, here.

These are 8 1/2" X 11" pencil roughs for my latest Simpsons story, "The Big Finish". It stars Grampa Simpson, and it's a riff on a certain cult crime movie that you just might have seen. And it's connected to the issue's cover by Sergio Aragones, who also appears in the story as a 'Simpsonized' character! The story is scheduled to appear in The Simpsons Comics #185, solicited next month, out in December.

Bart Simpson #60 is out today. My Bart vs. Apu and the Kwik-E-Mart story leads off, followed by a Sergio Aragones zombie movie epic. With Evan Dorkin thrown in for good measure. Not too shabby.
